Converts 12 V DC to 110 V and 220 V AC at 60 Hz, delivering 5000 W continuous per output with 20000 W peak and 40000 W total surge, plus UPS, battery charger and LCD display
The u-power unit converts 12 V DC into simultaneous 110 V and 220 V AC at 60 Hz with a low-frequency pure sine wave output. It delivers 5000 W continuous power on each voltage leg and 20000 W peak per leg, reaching 40000 W total peak. An integrated UPS, battery charger and LCD display are built in.
The inverter provides L1, N and L2 terminals so L1+N and L2+N each give 110 V while L1+L2 gives 220 V. The control board is optimised for 110 V regulation, so the manufacturer advises using a balanced mix of 110 V and 220 V loads or favouring 110 V. Running 220 V alone is possible but the LCD will show only half the actual 220 V wattage and current.
Installers who need both North American voltages from a single 12 V battery bank will benefit from the combined output and UPS function. Builders requiring a 220 V-preferred control board or full 220 V metering on the display should look at a custom control-board version or a different inverter design.
