Hot-swappable 54V 150W DC backup power module for EdgePower PSU systems
The Ubiquiti Networks EP-54V-150W-DC is a 54 V, 150 W DC power module built for the EdgePower PSU system. It serves as a secondary, hot-swappable module that can be installed or replaced without powering down the chassis. The package includes the module, a power cord, four mounting brackets, eight bracket screws and eight screw anchors.
This module suits installers adding redundancy to an EdgePower chassis or expanding total output toward 300 W when paired with a primary AC-DC module. It is not a standalone power supply and cannot operate outside the EdgePower enclosure, so buyers needing an independent PSU should look elsewhere.
The module slides into the secondary bay of an EdgePower unit, drawing DC input and delivering 54 V DC to attached PoE devices. Mounting hardware is supplied for secure installation. When the primary module fails, this unit activates automatically, freeing the operator from manual intervention and preserving uptime for connected switches and routers.

This module is a secondary unit for the EdgePower PSU system, which must be purchased separately. The EdgePower chassis provides the two PSU bays and connects to EdgePoint routers or switches to deliver PoE power.
Installed in the second bay, it can raise total output to 300W. If the primary 150W AC module fails, this backup activates automatically to maintain continuous power without shutting down the system.
The hot-swappable design allows insertion while the EdgePower is running. Successful operation is shown by the system continuing to deliver up to 300W combined output and the backup automatically taking over if the primary module is removed or fails.
