Designed for UniFi FLEX HD access points

This recessed ceiling mount is built exclusively for the UniFi FLEX HD wireless access point. It suits installers who need a low-profile, discreet appearance in offices, retail spaces or homes. The bracket supports drop-ceiling tiles, drywall and solid ceilings.

Snap-in lock and magnetic face plate

A guided snap-in mechanism with locking threads secures the access point without exposed screws. The sliding retainer adjusts for screw-free mounting on different ceiling thicknesses. An 85 mm magnetic face plate covers the bracket for a clean finish once the unit is in place.

Requires a 54 mm cutout

Installation starts with a 54 mm hole in the ceiling tile or drywall. Drywall anchors and mounting hardware are included, so no extra parts are needed. The 51 mm low-profile depth keeps the assembly close to the ceiling surface. Installers without a hole saw matching the cutout diameter will need to source one separately.

Questions about this item

Does the ceiling mount have any parts that wear out and need replacement over time?

The mount uses a solid sliding retainer with locking threads and a magnetic face plate, so there are no consumable or replaceable wear items.

What limits how many FlexHD access points can be mounted on one ceiling tile?

Each mount needs a 54 mm cutout and the 85 mm magnetic face plate covers the opening, so tile spacing and joist locations set the practical limit.

Does the bracket generate any noise, heat or extra power draw once the access point is installed?

The mount is a passive metal bracket with no fans or electronics, so it adds no noise, no heat and no power consumption.
