Ubiquiti Networks NanoStation 5AC Loco wireless router

Compact outdoor CPE

The Ubiquiti NanoStation 5AC Loco combines radio and antenna in a single compact body for indoor and outdoor installations. It operates as a 5 GHz airMAX ac customer-premises device with a dedicated Wi-Fi management radio for configuration. The integrated design minimises mounting space while delivering point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connectivity.

Surge protection and thermal design

Built-in ESD protection helps guard the hardware against power surges during storms or grid events. The unified enclosure acts as a passive heatsink, dissipating heat without moving parts so the unit runs silently. Low power draw from the efficient radio chain keeps operating costs minimal for always-on links.

Sustained link stability

Under continuous load the fanless chassis maintains thermal equilibrium without throttling the radio. The dedicated management radio stays available for monitoring and configuration even when the main link carries maximum throughput. This architecture ensures consistent performance for long-haul backhaul or distribution deployments.
