  • Compact 294 x 31 x 80 mm form factor weighs 400 g

2.4 GHz airMAX panel antenna

The Ubiquiti NSM2 is a 2.4 GHz panel antenna built for outdoor wireless links. It delivers 10.4 to 11.2 dBi gain with dual linear polarisation and a 55 by 53 degree azimuth beamwidth. The unit integrates a 400 MHz Atheros processor, 32 MB SDRAM and 8 MB flash. Two 10/100 Ethernet ports connect via passive PoE.

Upgrade from omnidirectional antennas

This panel replaces omnidirectional antennas when a focused beam improves link budget and reduces interference. The 23 dB minimum cross-pol isolation and 1.6:1 maximum VSWR support stable long-distance connections. The jump is worth it when line-of-sight paths need directional gain over wide coverage.

11 dBi gain for point-to-point links

The antenna comfortably handles point-to-point and point-to-multipoint deployments within its 27 degree elevation beamwidth. It runs out when wider azimuth coverage or 5 GHz operation is required. The UV-stabilised enclosure operates from -30 to 75 °C with pole-mount hardware included.
