Ubiquiti Networks PBE-5AC-620 5.88 GHz 450 Mbps network antenna

5.88 GHz 450 Mbps Bridge

The Ubiquiti Networks PBE-5AC-620 is a 5.88 GHz wireless bridge delivering 450 Mbps data rates under the IEEE 802.11ac standard. It uses a 620 mm dish reflector with integrated InnerFeed radio technology for point-to-point links. The design targets installers building long-range backhaul or customer-premises connections.

Sustained Link Performance

The airMAX ac engine with custom IC hardware acceleration maintains TDMA scheduling under continuous load, reducing latency variance compared with contention-based access. InnerFeed integration removes feedline loss so the radio sustains throughput at the antenna aperture. The 620 mm reflector provides high gain that preserves signal quality during extended transmission periods.

18.6 Mile Range Constraint

The specified 18.6 mile operating range defines the practical limit of the 5.88 GHz link under clear line-of-sight conditions. IEEE 802.11ac channel widths and regulatory power limits cap the maximum throughput at 450 Mbps regardless of distance. PoE powering simplifies deployment but does not extend the radio frequency envelope beyond the stated range.
