Delivers 50V 60W passive PoE with Gigabit LAN, surge protection and remote reset for Ubiquiti devices
This 50V DC passive Power over Ethernet adapter supplies up to 60W to compatible Ubiquiti devices through a single Gigabit LAN port. It accepts 100-240V AC input at 50/60 Hz and delivers 1.2A output current with 85% efficiency. The unit includes a US-style power cord, a power LED indicator and remote reset capability.
Network technicians deploying airFiber, airMAX, EdgeMAX, mFi or UniFi access points that require 50V passive PoE will find this injector matches the voltage and power budget. Builders whose equipment operates at 48V DC or below, or who need active standard negotiation, cannot use this adapter.
The injector provides a fixed 50V DC at 1.2A, so the connected device must be rated for exactly that passive PoE voltage. Supplying 50V to hardware designed for 48V, 24V or 15V passive PoE risks damage, while devices expecting active negotiation will not power up.

The adapter has no integrated mounting brackets; it is designed to rest on a flat surface or be secured with a third-party bracket. The 24 V 0.5 A models are the only ones Ubiquiti lists as wall-mountable with optional brackets.
Plug the AC cord into a 100-240 V outlet first, then connect the LAN cable to the Gigabit LAN port and the PoE cable to the device side; the power LED will light and the remote reset function becomes active.
The internal AC-DC converter and the US-style power cord are the primary wear items; the surge-protection circuitry sacrifices itself after large ESD events, so inspect the grounding connection periodically.
