High-performance 5 GHz basestation for PtMP

The Ubiquiti Networks Rocket 5AC Prism is a high-performance 5 GHz basestation built for point-to-multipoint and point-to-point links. It delivers up to 500 Mbps data throughput with 450 Mbps sustained capacity and supports 50-plus concurrent clients. The integrated GPS sync and dedicated spectral analysis radio enable precise co-location and interference monitoring for ISP and enterprise deployments.

5 GHz airPrism active RF filtering

Operating worldwide from 5150 to 5875 MHz, the radio uses proprietary airPrism active RF filtering to reject noise in congested spectrum. Channel sizes of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 80 MHz are available in PtP mode, while PtMP mode supports 10, 20, 30 and 40 MHz channels. A dedicated management radio at 2412–2472 MHz worldwide provides UISP mobile app access for setup and monitoring without disrupting the main link.

Passive PoE power with industrial temperature rating

The unit draws a maximum of 9.5 W and ships with a 24 V, 1 A gigabit PoE adapter, accepting 18–27 V DC via passive PoE on pairs 4,5+ and 7,8 return. A single GbE RJ45 port handles data and power. The die-cast aluminium casing operates from -40 to 80 °C (-40 to 176 °F) at 5–95 % non-condensing humidity, making it suitable for harsh outdoor mast installations.
