Indoor/Outdoor WiFi 6 Access Point

The Ubiquiti U6-Mesh-Pro is a weatherproof WiFi 6 access point built for indoor or outdoor deployment. It delivers 4 spatial streams and an integrated omnidirectional super antenna rated for 185 m² coverage. The unit supports 350+ connected devices and includes a gigabit uplink with a gigabit passthrough port for wired expansion.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Powered by PoE, the access point maintains consistent throughput across its coverage area without relying on a separate power supply. The integrated super antenna provides stable omnidirectional signal for high-density environments. The gigabit passthrough port allows a wired device to share the uplink without adding another PoE injector.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify that your network infrastructure can supply PoE power to the mounting location. Confirm that a wall or pole surface is available for the versatile mounting hardware included. Ensure the gigabit uplink cabling reaches the planned installation point for both data and power delivery.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the U6-Mesh-Pro generate when running continuously?

The access point has no fan and is powered via PoE, so it runs silently with minimal heat output during all-day operation.

What additional equipment is required to power and connect the U6-Mesh-Pro?

You need a PoE injector or PoE switch to supply power over the Ethernet uplink, plus a router or gateway to provide internet connectivity.

Can the gigabit passthrough port feed a wired device such as an older switch or camera?

Yes, the single GbE passthrough port carries data through from the uplink, allowing you to daisy-chain a wired device without a separate switch.
