Two-Pack 1.25 Gbps SFP Modules

This two-pack supplies Ubiquiti Networks 1.25 Gbps SFP transceivers built for multimode fiber links. Each module uses dual LC connectors and is rated for cable runs up to 550 meters. The pair suits network operators who need matching spares or parallel uplinks.

Upgrade from Single Units or Lower Speeds

Replacing individual transceivers with this matched pair simplifies inventory and ensures identical performance on both ends of a link. The step up from slower optics is worthwhile when 1.25 Gbps throughput and 550-meter reach match the design requirements.

Check Switch Ports and Fiber Type

Verify that the host equipment accepts SFP form-factor modules at 1.25 Gbps and provides LC receptacles. Confirm the installed cabling is multimode fiber compatible with the 550-meter distance rating before ordering.

Questions about this item

What type of fiber connector does the UACC-OM-MM-1G-D transceiver use for multimode fiber?

Each module in the two-pack uses a standard LC duplex connector designed for multimode fiber patch cables.

What is the correct insertion method for these SFP transceivers into a switch port?

Slide the module firmly into the SFP slot until the latch clicks audibly; forcing it without aligning the key damages the connector.

When should the optical interfaces be cleaned to maintain the 550-meter link?

Clean the LC ferrules with a lint-free wipe and isopropyl alcohol before first installation and any time the link shows unexpected signal loss.
