Ceiling-mounted Wi-Fi 5 access point

The Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-PRO-US is a ceiling-mounted Wi-Fi 5 access point designed for high-density indoor environments. It supports up to 250 connected devices across dual 3x3 MIMO radios. The unit includes a 48V PoE adapter and mounts on a standard ceiling grid. Management is handled through the UniFi Controller software.

250-plus devices and 140-metre range

Each radio delivers up to 1.3 Gbps on 5 GHz and 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz using 6 spatial streams. Practical throughput scales with client count and channel width; the radio chain saturates before the dual GbE uplinks in dense deployments. Coverage extends to 140 metres indoors under clear line of sight. Environments with heavy co-channel interference or thick walls will see reduced effective range.

Dual GbE RJ45 PoE uplink

The access point provides two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports powered by 802.3af PoE or the included 48V adapter. Both ports operate at line rate, so aggregate wired throughput is limited to 1 Gbps per port. Networks requiring link aggregation or multi-gigabit uplinks must use a different model. The second port can daisy-chain another PoE device but does not increase uplink bandwidth.
