SKU CH-BQ1N-2JGX7

An 8-port gigabit switch powered by PoE with pass-through to keep connected devices running

  • Product typeCable Modem
  • PoE pass-through keeps downstream devices powered
  • Eight gigabit ports add wired connections instantly
  • PoE-powered design needs no separate power outlet
  • Silent fanless operation suits quiet workspaces

PoE-Powered 8-Port Gigabit Switch

The US-8 is an eight-port gigabit switch that draws its own power through PoE and provides PoE pass-through to connected devices. It adds wired Ethernet ports without needing a separate power outlet. The compact design suits desktop or wall placement in home and small-office networks.

Ideal for PoE-Only Locations

This switch suits installers who have a single PoE feed and need multiple wired ports while keeping a downstream PoE device powered. It is not for buyers who need a switch with its own power supply, more than eight ports, multi-gigabit uplinks, or Layer 3 routing features.

Questions about this item

Does the US-8 come with a PoE injector or power supply, or must I buy one separately?

The switch is PoE powered and passes power through to connected PoE devices, so a separate PoE injector or PoE-capable upstream switch is required to power the unit itself.

Should I choose this 8-port model or a larger UniFi switch for my deployment?

Choose the US-8 when you need exactly eight gigabit ports with PoE pass-through in a compact form factor; larger UniFi switches add more ports and often include built-in power supplies instead of pass-through.
