A 24-port managed Layer 2 switch with 16 PoE+ ports and a 95W power budget in a fanless rackmount design
Model Standard 24 PoE
The Ubiquiti Networks USW-24-POE is a managed Layer 2 switch with 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports and two 1G SFP uplinks. Sixteen of the RJ45 ports deliver 802.3af/at PoE+ power from a 95 W budget. It suits small to medium networks powering access points and cameras over a single cable. The fanless design provides silent operation for office or rack environments.
The unit mounts in a standard rack using the included brackets and measures 442 x 285 x 44 mm. It requires a 100–240 V AC supply and offers 26 Gbps non-blocking throughput with a 52 Gbps switching capacity. The two SFP ports free up RJ45 downlinks for uplinks or aggregation. Management runs over Ethernet in-band, so no dedicated console port is needed.
A 52 Gbps switching fabric and 38.69 Mpps forwarding rate handle continuous traffic without head-of-line blocking. The 95 W PoE budget is shared across the sixteen powered ports, so dense camera deployments must stay within that envelope. Fanless cooling relies on passive airflow; sustained high port utilisation in a closed rack demands adequate cabinet ventilation to avoid thermal throttling.

Other versions of this model
Sixteen ports support PoE/PoE+; the total budget is 95W, so the number of simultaneous PoE+ devices depends on each device's draw.
The switch uses a fanless cooling system rated for silent operation under normal load; sustained full-port throughput may raise chassis temperature.
The switch is managed through the UniFi Network application, which runs on a UniFi Console, Cloud Key, or self-hosted server.
