A managed 24-port Layer 3 rackmount switch with 16 GbE and eight 2.5 GbE PoE++ ports, two 10G SFP+ uplinks, 400 W PoE budget and 112 Gbps switching capacity
Model Pro Max 24 PoE
Primary Port 24 Port
The Ubiquiti Networks USW-Pro-Max-24-PoE is a rackmount managed switch with 24 RJ45 ports and two 10G SFP+ uplinks. It provides Layer 3 routing features including static routing, DHCP relay and inter-VLAN routing. The switch suits networks that need high-power PoE++ delivery alongside advanced traffic management.
The unit operates from a universal 100—240V AC supply and includes a USP-RPS DC input for redundant power. Total PoE budget reaches 400W across the 24 downlink ports. Passive cooling handles the thermal load in a standard 1U rack space measuring 44 mm high.
Sixteen ports deliver 60W PoE++ using both pair sets while eight ports provide PoE or PoE+ on the standard pairs. Eight of the RJ45 ports support 2.5 GbE speeds with the remaining sixteen at 1 GbE. Buyers needing more than 24 managed ports or a higher aggregate PoE budget should consider larger models.

Other versions of this model
Mount the 442 x 325 x 44 mm chassis using the included brackets, connect the 100—240V AC supply, then adopt the switch in the UniFi controller before configuring VLANs or PoE profiles — skipping adoption leaves ports in default state.
The switch has no user-serviceable fans or power modules; plan to replace the entire unit if the 400W PoE budget degrades or if the USP-RPS DC input fails, and keep firmware current via the controller.
The 400W total PoE budget across 24 ports will cap before the 112 Gbps switching capacity or 56 Gbps non-blocking throughput, especially when multiple 60W PoE++ devices draw power simultaneously.
