Ubiquiti Networks UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra 4MP 102.4° 30 m IR surveillance security system

Compact 4MP PoE camera for outdoor monitoring

The Ubiquiti Networks UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra is a 2K HD surveillance camera built for exposed outdoor locations. Its tamper-resistant and weatherproof housing protects the unit in harsh conditions. Power and data run over a single PoE connection for simpler cabling. Integrated AI event detections and a microphone add context to every recording.

102.4° view and 30 m night range

The ultra-wide 102.4° viewing angle covers large areas with a single camera, reducing blind spots around entry points. At night the infrared LEDs illuminate scenes up to 30 m (98 ft) for clear 4MP footage after dark. Detail holds well across the frame until extreme low-light distance pushes past the IR limit. Audio capture works alongside video for complete event records.

PoE power and bandwidth limits

A single Ethernet cable supplies both power and data, so no separate power supply is needed at the camera. Cable length and switch power budget set the practical reach; runs beyond standard Ethernet distance need repeaters or fibre links. Very busy networks can constrain sustained 2K streaming if the uplink is saturated. The fixed lens and single-unit design mean coverage changes require repositioning or additional cameras.
