Small white rectangular network repeater with two Ethernet ports and mounting tabs

Ubiquiti Networks

Ubiquiti UACC-LRE Long Range Ethernet Repeater

SKU CH-F308-K2ASS

A Gigabit Ethernet adapter that receives PoE and provides passthrough PoE output to extend network links up to one kilometre

  • Extends network reach up to 1 km
  • Powers remote devices through passthrough PoE output
  • Chains multiple units for longer runs
  • Survives harsh weather from -40 °C to 80 °C
  • Protects equipment with 10 kA surge protection

Indoor Outdoor Gigabit Repeater

The Ubiquiti UACC-LRE is a Gigabit Ethernet repeater built for indoor and outdoor deployment. It receives PoE or PoE+ on one RJ45 port and passes power through a second RJ45 port to a downstream device. Multiple units can be chained to extend network reach beyond standard cable limits.

Sustained Operation In Temperature Extremes

The unit is rated for continuous operation from minus 40 to 80 degrees Celsius. Surge protection rated above 10 kA guards connected equipment against lightning strikes and electrical transients. This hardening keeps links stable during prolonged exposure to heat, cold and storm conditions.

Ethernet Distance And Power Constraints

A single UACC-LRE supports link distances up to 1 km while delivering both data and PoE power. Gigabit Ethernet speed and PoE passthrough capacity set the practical ceiling for camera or access-point deployments. Chaining additional repeaters adds further distance but does not increase the Gigabit throughput or PoE budget beyond the initial link.

Questions about this item

How much power does the UACC-LRE draw when running continuously?

It receives PoE or PoE+ on the input port and passes power through the output port without a separate supply.

What must I already own to make this repeater work?

A PoE or PoE+ switch to feed the input port and an Ethernet cable for the link.

Will it chain with the older UACC-LRE units I already have?

Yes, multiple UACC-LRE adapters can be chained together to extend the link further.
