Five 2.5 Gbps ports for instant bandwidth

This unmanaged switch provides five RJ45 ports that each run at 2.5 Gbps. Total non-blocking switching capacity reaches 25 Gbps. Auto-negotiation handles 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps devices without configuration. Fanless cooling keeps the unit silent on a desk or wall mount.

2.5 Gbps per port is the deciding spec

Every port delivers 2.5 Gbps line rate, so the switch removes the 1 Gbps bottleneck for NAS transfers, gaming consoles and workstations. Jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes pass through without fragmentation. No management software or drivers are required.

Ideal for homes and small offices upgrading

Buyers who need more than five ports or require PoE power for cameras and access points should consider a larger model. Users who only have 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps equipment will not see a speed increase. The plastic chassis suits indoor desktop or wall mounting.

Questions about this item

What does the 25 Gbps total switching capacity mean for my network?

It means all five 2.5 Gb ports can run at full speed at the same time without blocking each other.

What cabling standard do the 2.5 Gb RJ45 ports require?

They work with Cat 5e or better and auto-negotiate down to 1 Gb or 100 Mb for older cables.

How much space do I need to mount this switch on a wall?

The unit measures 14.33 in wide, 12.83 in high and 9.06 in deep, so allow at least that footprint plus cable clearance.
