What this charger delivers

The Ugreen CD244 Nexode is a 65W GaN USB charger with two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. It supplies up to 65W from a single USB-C output and 22.5W from the USB-A port. The foldable plug and compact body make it suitable for travellers who need to power a laptop, phone and accessories from one outlet.

Check your devices before ordering

Verify that your laptop accepts USB-C Power Delivery up to 20V/3.25A and that your phone or tablet supports PD 3.0, QC 4.0+ or PPS for fastest charging. The USB-A port delivers 5V/3A, 9V/2A or 12V/1.5A. Ensure your cables are rated for the required current. The unit accepts 100-240V AC input for worldwide use.

Heat, noise and power draw

GaN technology allows the charger to run cooler than traditional silicon adapters at the same load. No fan is present, so operation is silent. Under full 65W load the housing becomes warm but remains within safe limits. Idle draw is low, and the foldable plug reduces the risk of damage when packed in a bag.

Questions about this item

What cables come in the box with the Ugreen CD244 Nexode 65W charger?

The package includes the charger unit with a foldable plug. No USB-C or USB-A cables are supplied, so you will need to provide your own cables for each device.

Which USB-C port should I use to charge a MacBook Air at the full 65W?

Either USB-C port can deliver up to 65W when used alone. When both USB-C ports are active, the power is shared and the maximum per port drops below 65W.

What does the 65W rating mean when I plug in a phone, a tablet and a laptop at the same time?

The 65W is the total combined output. With three devices connected, the two USB-C ports share the higher-wattage budget while the USB-A port is limited to 22.5W, so each device charges more slowly than it would alone.
