On-ear headphones for school and travel

The UKELALA U2 is a lightweight wired headset built for children, students and adults who need a simple audio solution for schoolwork, airplane journeys or daily commuting. Weighing 0.222 kg, the foldable frame and soft headband are designed for extended wear without fatigue. A 1.5 m nylon-braided cable resists tangles during transport.

32 ohm impedance with 3.5 mm plug

The 32 ohm input impedance means the headphones draw little power and reach adequate volume directly from a phone, tablet, laptop or Chromebook without an amplifier. The standard 3.5 mm connector provides plug-and-play compatibility with any device that offers a headphone jack.

In-line media control and microphone

A built-in microphone with roughly 3K ohm impedance and touch-sensitive media controls let users answer calls, adjust volume or skip tracks without reaching for the connected device. The tangle-free braided cord and foldable hinges make the set easy to pack in a backpack or carry-on bag.

Questions about this item

How does the 32 ohm impedance affect volume when I plug the U2 into a phone or laptop?

At 32 ohms the U2 draws enough current from a standard 3.5 mm jack to reach loud listening levels without a separate amplifier, so it works well with phones, laptops and tablets.

What does the 3.5 mm connector limit in practice?

The analogue 3.5 mm plug carries stereo audio and the inline microphone signal only; it cannot transmit digital surround formats or remote-control codes beyond the basic media buttons on the cable.

Will the folding hinges and 1.5 m cable fit inside a typical school backpack pocket?

Yes, the headband folds flat and the 1.5 m braided cable coils to a small bundle, so the 0.222 kg unit slips into a standard front pocket or laptop sleeve.
