Ready for Adventure

The Ultimate Ears MEGABOOM 3 in Lagoon Blue is a portable Bluetooth speaker built for outdoor use. Its cylindrical design delivers 360-degree sound with two 50mm drivers and dual passive radiators. An IP67 rating means it survives full submersion for 30 minutes and floats on water.

Who It Suits

Buyers wanting a rugged, waterproof speaker for poolside, beach or travel use will value the 20-hour battery and 45-metre wireless range. The one-touch controls and PartyUp pairing simplify group listening. Users who need a wired aux input or USB-C charging should consider other models.

The Deciding Spec

The IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating is the single specification that determines suitability. It guarantees the speaker withstands immersion up to one metre for 30 minutes while maintaining playback. If your environment never exposes the device to water or dust, a non-rugged alternative may offer a lighter build.
