Ready for Any Adventure

The Ultimate Ears MEGABOOM 3 in Sunset Red is a portable Bluetooth speaker built for immersive 360-degree sound. It serves listeners who want balanced, clear audio at home, outdoors or on the move. Two 50mm full-range drivers and two 55mm x 86mm passive radiators deliver a maximum sound level of 90dBA. The IP67 rating means it withstands submersion for up to 30 minutes and floats in water.

Check Your Source Devices

Before ordering, confirm your phone, tablet or other source supports Bluetooth pairing for wireless streaming. The speaker connects up to two source devices simultaneously and stores up to eight paired devices in memory. Wireless range reaches 45m (150 ft) in open conditions. A Micro USB port handles recharging, so ensure you have a compatible cable or power supply available for the 20-hour battery.

One-Touch Control and Presets

The top-mounted button lets you play, pause and skip tracks directly on the speaker without reaching for your phone. Four EQ presets plus a customisable tuner adapt the sound profile to different occasions or genres. In the box you receive the speaker, a Micro-USB cable, a power supply and a quick start guide. The two-tone fabric cover is engineered for extreme durability and passes more than 25 rigorous tests.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the MEGABOOM 3 and do I need to buy a charger separately?

The package includes the speaker, a Micro-USB cable and a power supply so you can charge it right away; no extra charger is required.

Which colour option is this model and does it affect battery life or sound?

This unit is the Sunset Red finish; the colour is purely cosmetic and does not change the 20-hour battery life or the 360° sound output.

What does the 90 dBA maximum sound level mean when I am using the speaker outdoors?

At 90 dBA the MEGABOOM 3 delivers loud, clear audio that carries across a garden or beach, and the IP67 rating means it survives splashes, dust and a 30-minute submersion.
