Wonderboom 4 Portable Speaker

The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 is a compact Bluetooth speaker built for outdoor use. Its 360-degree sound profile and IP67 rating suit listeners who want music at the pool, beach or campsite. The speaker delivers balanced audio with a dedicated Outdoor Boost button for open spaces. A Podcast Mode enhances vocal clarity for spoken-word content.

Upgrade From Basic Portable Speakers

This model replaces single-driver units that lack stereo separation or environmental tuning. The jump is worth it when you need true wireless stereo pairing between two speakers and an IP67 dustproof and waterproof build. Buyers who need multi-room audio across more than two units or a built-in voice assistant will not find those functions here.

Bluetooth Range and Pairing Limits

Wireless range extends to 40 meters in clear conditions, with Google Fast Pair support for Android 6.0 and above. The Double Up feature creates a stereo pair from two Wonderboom 4 units only; it does not work with PartyUP or earlier Wonderboom models. Charging requires a USB-C cable that is not supplied in the box.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the Wonderboom 4 so I know if it fits my bag?

The speaker measures 4.0 in x 4.0 in x 8.0 in, making it compact enough for most bags or cup holders.

How do I pair two Wonderboom 4 speakers for stereo sound, and what step do people miss?

Press the pairing button once to link them for louder mono sound, then press it a second time to activate true left/right stereo channels.

The battery is sealed — what charging port does it use and what cable do I need later?

It charges via USB-C; the cable is not included, so you will need to supply your own USB-C cable for future recharges.
