Compact 360° Outdoor Speaker

The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 is a portable Bluetooth speaker built for outdoor listening. Its 360-degree sound dispersion fills open spaces without a sweet spot. The IP67 rating means it survives submersion in one metre of water for 30 minutes and resists dust completely. It floats, so pool or beach drops are recoverable.

Drop-Proof Build With USB-C Charging

A rubberised exterior passes a 1.5 metre drop test and adds grip for wet hands. The integrated loop attaches to packs, hooks or carabiners for hands-free carry. Bluetooth range reaches 40 metres (131 feet) in clear air, letting the source device stay indoors while the speaker plays outside. Charging uses USB-C; the cable is not included.

Stereo Pairing Extends The System

Two Wonderboom 4 units link with one press for mono doubling, and a second press creates a true left-right stereo pair. This replaces a single larger boombox when wider separation matters. The 14-hour battery covers a full day at moderate volume. Buyers needing multi-room sync, voice-assistant integration or PartyUP compatibility should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What Bluetooth range does the Wonderboom 4 deliver in open air?

The speaker maintains a stable connection up to 131 feet (40 meters) from the source device, so you can move around a garden or pool deck without dropouts.

What are the exact dimensions and weight I need to clear for a bike cage or dry-bag?

It measures 4.0 in by 4.0 in by 8.0 in and weighs 1.19 lb, a compact cylinder that fits most cup holders and mesh pockets.

How do I activate true wireless stereo with a second Wonderboom 4, and what is the common mis-step?

Press the pairing button once to link the two speakers in mono Double Up mode, then press it a second time on either unit to engage left/right stereo channels; the mistake is stopping after the first press and assuming stereo is already active.
