Large Tablet Sunshade for DJI Controllers

The Ultimaxx Large Tablet Sunshade Visor Hood attaches to a remote controller to shield a mounted tablet from direct sunlight. It is designed for drone pilots who fly outdoors and need clear screen visibility while operating their aircraft.

Folding Design with Matte Interior

The hood folds into a compact shape for transport and snaps onto the controller with a quick-release mechanism. A matte PU lining on the inner surface suppresses glare and reflections, while the soft-touch PU exterior and high-pressing moulded silicon parts provide a secure fit.

Quick-Release Mounting

Installation uses the integrated quick-release system that clamps around the controller and tablet without tools. The foldable frame must be aligned correctly before locking; misalignment can prevent the hood from closing flat or cause it to sit loosely on narrower remotes.

Questions about this item

Will the PU skin or silicon parts need replacing after heavy outdoor use?

The high-quality soft-touch PU skin and high-pressing molded silicon parts are built for durability, so routine replacement is not expected.

What limits how long I can keep the tablet shaded during a full day of flying?

The 600-gram weight adds mass to the controller, which may cause arm fatigue before the shade itself reaches any functional limit.

Does the hood trap heat around the tablet when flying for hours in direct sun?

The matte PU lining cuts screen glare without sealing the device, so airflow around the tablet remains unrestricted during extended sessions.
