Underwater LED light for GoPro HERO models

The Ultimaxx LED light attaches between compatible GoPro cameras and standard mounts for underwater illumination. It is rated waterproof to 30 metres and functions down to 40 metres. The unit suits divers, snorkellers and anyone capturing point-of-view footage in low-light aquatic conditions. Integrated brackets allow quick mounting on poles, grips or floating bobbers.

Sustained output across three modes

Three selectable modes manage brightness and run time for extended sessions. Strong mode delivers 300 lumens for 1.3 hours, low mode provides reduced intensity for six hours and SOS mode flashes for seven hours. The built-in 5 V 1000 mAh battery recharges via USB so no disposable cells are required. Performance remains consistent throughout each cycle without the drop-off seen in single-burst designs.

Upgrade from built-in camera light

This accessory replaces reliance on the camera’s own LED or ambient light when shooting below the surface. The jump is worth it for anyone regularly filming deeper than a few metres or in murky water where the native light cannot reach. Buyers who only shoot in bright shallows or on land will not need the extra output. The light adds a compact, rechargeable source that mounts directly into the existing GoPro rig.
