Magnetic Qi Charger Kit

The Ultimaxx Ulti-MagCharger is an 18W wireless charging kit that uses a magnetic ring to keep compatible smartphones aligned for faster power transfer. It works with any Qi-enabled phone and includes a vent mount for in-car use. The kit also supplies a metal ring so non-magnetic handsets can still attach securely. A USB-C to USB-A cable is provided for connecting to a power source.

Vent Mount and Power Input

The included vent mount clips onto standard vehicle vents, placing the charger within easy reach while driving. Power comes from any PD-enabled charger, laptop USB port or other USB output device via the built-in plug. No separate power adapter is bundled, so the installer must supply a suitable USB source. The two-foot cable limits placement to nearby ports.

Sustained Charging Behaviour

An intelligent protection chip monitors temperature, voltage and current continuously during long charging sessions. If a metal object is detected between the charger and the phone, the LED indicator alerts the user and charging pauses to prevent overheating. This safeguard keeps output stable over extended periods rather than throttling after a short burst. The magnetic alignment helps maintain peak efficiency throughout the cycle.
