Four-pack battery testers for home use
This set includes four UMLIFE BT-168 testers that check common household cells such as AA, AAA, C, D, 9 V and 1.5 V button types. Each unit uses an analog needle on a colour-coded scale to show good, low or replace status. No internal battery is needed because the device draws power from the cell under test. The compact ABS housing measures 11 by 6 by 2.5 cm.
Suits anyone checking loose cells around the house
Handy for households that keep a mix of alkaline and zinc-carbon batteries in drawers or devices. The four-pack lets you leave one tester in the kitchen, one in the garage and two elsewhere for quick access. Not suited for users who need a digital readout, data logging or the ability to test lithium-ion, NiMH or rechargeable packs.
Analog display with three voltage zones
The needle moves across green (good at 1.5 V–1.28 V or 9 V–7.8 V), yellow (low at 1.27 V–1.15 V or 7.7 V–6 V) and red (replace below 1.15 V or below 6 V). This single scale determines whether a cell stays in service or goes to recycling.

Questions about this item
What comes in the 4-pack and do I need to supply any batteries for the testers themselves?
The package contains four BT-168 testers. Each unit is powered by the battery under test, so no separate batteries are required for the testers.
Which battery types can a single BT-168 unit check?
One tester handles AAA, AA, C, D, 9 V, 1.5 V button cells and other 1.5 V household cells.
What do the green, yellow and red zones on the analog scale tell me about a 1.5 V cell?
Green means 1.28 V to 1.5 V (good), yellow means 1.15 V to 1.27 V (low), red means below 1.15 V (replace).
