This 45 W USB-C power adapter replaces the original charger for HP, Dell, Acer and Lenovo Chromebooks. It accepts 100-240 V input at 50-60 Hz and delivers selectable DC output at 5 V 3 A, 9 V 3 A, 15 V 3 A or 20 V 2.25 A. The package includes the adapter and a detachable power cable. Condition is new.

20 V 2.25 A Maximum Output

The adapter reaches its full 45 W rating only at 20 V and 2.25 A, so the connected device must request this voltage profile over USB-C Power Delivery. Lower profiles of 5 V, 9 V and 15 V are limited to 3 A each. If a laptop negotiates only 15 V, the available power drops to 45 W; at 9 V it is 27 W; at 5 V it is 15 W.

Fits USB-C Charging Port Only

The barrel-style connector on many legacy ThinkPad and Chromebook models will not accept this adapter. It requires a USB-C port that supports Power Delivery negotiation. The unit frees you from carrying a proprietary brick, but it cannot charge devices that lack USB-C PD input or that demand a higher fixed voltage such as 20 V 3.25 A.
