8-Inch IPS Touch Portable Monitor

The Unew CX080TP-B is an 8-inch IPS touchscreen monitor with a 1280x800 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. It is built for professionals and gamers who need a compact second display for mobile workflows or portable gaming setups. The multi-point capacitive touch panel connects via USB-C for input. It supports Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux systems.

Sustained Operation and Thermal Design

Rear heat-dissipation holes maintain stable performance during extended sessions for outdoor shooting or long office hours. The 400 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio remain consistent without throttling. Low power consumption reduces thermal load on the chassis. Physical buttons allow quick adjustments without interrupting the active workload.

HDMI and USB-C Interface Limits

Video input relies on HDMI and USB-C ports, requiring host devices to support video output over those interfaces. The monitor draws power through a dedicated DC 12V adapter included in the package. Touch functionality is only active when the USB-C link carries both data and video signals. Unsupported host ports will limit the display to video-only mode.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Unew CX080TP-B get when running all day?

Rear heat-dissipation holes keep the 8 inch IPS panel stable during long-hour use; power consumption is described as low and no fan is mentioned.

Which cables or power sources must I already own to use the CX080TP-B?

The box includes an HDMI cable, a USB-C cable and a DC 12 V power adapter, so no extra cables are required for standard connection.

Will the CX080TP-B work as a second screen alongside my older laptop that only has HDMI output?

Yes — HDMI input is supported alongside USB-C, and duplicate, extend and second-screen modes are built in for Windows, macOS, Android and Linux.
