What this 15.6" IPS display does

The Unew CX156-J is a 15.6 inch Full HD IPS portable monitor built for industrial, security and office use. It accepts HDMI, VGA and DVI signals from PCs, CCTV systems, microscopes or consoles. The non-touch panel suits users who need a reliable second screen without touchscreen cost or glare.

Heat, sound and power in daily use

The unit runs on an external DC 12V power adapter and has no internal fan, so operation is silent. The IPS panel is rated at 300 cd/m² brightness with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms response time. The compact casing measures 375 x 238 x 44mm and stays cool during typical extended sessions.

What the bundled kit enables

Included are a detachable desktop stand, a 75x75mm VESA bracket, a DC 12V power adapter and an HDMI cable. The stand allows immediate desk placement while the VESA bracket enables wall or arm mounting. The HDMI cable provides a ready digital link, and the audio jack supports external speakers or headphones.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 75x75mm VESA bracket and what step is often missed?

Remove the detachable stand first, then fasten the supplied VESA bracket to the four 75mm holes on the rear; the step people skip is taking the stand off before mounting.

Which component will need replacement first during continuous operation?

The external DC 12V power adapter is the only field-replaceable part; the IPS panel and internal electronics have no user-serviceable items listed.

At what brightness level does the 300 cd/m² backlight hit its ceiling under sustained load?

The panel is rated at 300 cd/m² maximum; it cannot exceed this level regardless of how long it runs.
