Professional 18" Squeegee Channel

The Unger NE450 is a notched stainless steel channel fitted with a soft rubber blade. It is built for professional window cleaners and facility staff who need streak-free results on any smooth, flat surface. The stainless construction is lighter yet stronger than traditional brass channels. Sold as a single 18-inch unit for immediate use.

Suited for high-efficiency glass cleaning

This tool suits cleaners who value a smooth glide and reduced fatigue during long shifts. The soft rubber conforms to glass for a consistent wipe on standard windows. It is not for rough or textured surfaces where a softer blade would wear quickly. Buyers needing a harder rubber for heavy soil or a different blade width should look elsewhere.

18-inch notched stainless steel channel

The single specification that decides fit is the 18-inch notched stainless steel channel paired with a soft rubber blade. This exact width matches standard professional handles and T-bars. The NE450 model number confirms the channel profile and rubber type. Verify your handle accepts an 18-inch channel before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the Unger NE450 require a specific handle to attach the 18" channel?

The channel uses a standard tapered socket that fits most professional squeegee handles, so an existing Unger or compatible pole will work.

Can the soft rubber blade on this 18" channel clean textured glass without leaving streaks?

The soft rubber is designed for smooth, flat surfaces; textured glass may trap water and cause streaking with this blade type.

How can I verify the NE450 channel is seated correctly on the handle before cleaning?

Push the channel firmly onto the handle until the taper locks tight; a secure fit prevents wobble and ensures even pressure across the 18" blade.
