10 KΩ Linear Potentiometer Set for Electronics Work

This pack supplies ten 10 KΩ linear-taper rotary potentiometers with three terminals each. They are intended for hobbyists, technicians and electricians who need a ready supply of standard B10K parts for volume controls, tone circuits or general signal-level adjustment. Each unit is a single-gang Type B element with a knurled 6 mm shaft that accepts most common knob styles.

Simple Panel Mounting with Standard Dimensions

Installation is straightforward: the 7 mm mounting thread fits a typical panel cut-out and the 13 mm shaft length clears most enclosure walls. The 16 mm by 7.3 mm base footprint keeps the component compact on crowded boards. Builders who require a different resistance value, a logarithmic taper or a longer shaft for thick panels will need a separate part.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 10K ohm resistance is correct after wiring the three terminals?

Measure between the outer terminals with a multimeter set to resistance; it should read close to 10K ohm, and the wiper terminal should sweep smoothly from zero to the full value as the 6 mm knurled shaft is turned.

What comes in the package and do I need to purchase mounting hardware separately?

The box contains ten B10K potentiometers with 13 mm shafts and 7 mm mounting threads; nuts and washers for the 7 mm thread are not included and must be sourced separately.
