12-piece AA battery plate kit

This pack supplies twelve silver-tone metal plates that accept standard AA alkaline button cells. It is intended for hobbyists, repair technicians or anyone building custom battery holders for low-power devices.

Mechanical contact limits

Each plate provides a simple spring or tab connection without solder terminals, so current capacity is restricted by the physical contact pressure. The bare metal surface can oxidise over time, increasing resistance in humid or high-vibration environments.

Twelve-plate capacity and headroom

The set delivers enough plates for multiple small projects or a single larger array, handling typical AA cell voltages with ease. It runs out when a design requires insulated housings, polarity protection or higher-current spring contacts beyond the basic tab style.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 12-piece pack or a smaller quantity?

The listing supplies exactly 12 silver-tone plates, each sized for an AA alkaline cell, so you receive the full quantity in one pack.

How do these plates perform once installed in a battery holder?

They act as the conductive contact surface for each AA alkaline cell, completing the circuit without adding measurable resistance.

What interface standard do the plates follow and what does it limit?

They are simple stamped metal tabs made to the physical dimensions of a standard AA battery compartment; no electrical standard governs them.
