Four zinc-alloy grommets for 53 mm holes

The pack contains four silver-finished zinc-alloy grommets designed to fit a 53 mm cut-out. Each unit measures 61 mm across the flange and stands 13 mm high, providing a durable, corrosion-resistant cable pass-through for desks, counters or furniture.

Suits desks with a 53 mm opening.

These grommets work only where a 53 mm hole has been drilled or cut. Installations needing a smaller or larger cut-out, or a non-circular opening, will require different hardware.

Flange diameter 61 mm covers the cut edge

The 61 mm maximum diameter ensures the flange fully conceals the hole edge once the grommet is seated, giving a clean finish on any surface thick enough to accept the 13 mm height.

Questions about this item

How deep is the grommet once it sits in a 53 mm hole?

The grommet stands 13 mm high, so it adds about half an inch above the surface after installation.

Does the zinc-alloy finish stay cool or get warm when cables run through it all day?

The electroplated zinc alloy does not generate heat; it simply surrounds the cables and remains at ambient temperature.

What size drill bit or hole saw do I need before I can install these?

Cut a 53 mm (2-1/8") diameter hole in the desk; the grommet's 51 mm bottom flange then drops in and sits flush.
