16-pin female-to-female IDC ribbon cable with 2.54 mm pitch, 118 cm long for JTAG or ISP programming
This 118 cm flat ribbon cable terminates in 16-pin female IDC connectors at both ends. The double-row layout matches standard 2.54 mm pitch pin headers. It is intended for connections to Atmel AVR JTAG debuggers, in-system programmers and ISP download interfaces. The grey cable weighs 38 g.
The fixed 2.54 mm pitch restricts use to headers with that exact spacing. Only 16 conductors are provided, so wider buses or additional signals require a different cable. The IDC displacement connectors are not designed for repeated mating cycles. Length is fixed at 118 cm and cannot be shortened without re-terminating.

This cable has 16 pins in a double-row female-to-female layout that matches standard 2.54mm spacing headers, so select it when your board uses a 2x16 header.
The 118cm ribbon gives about 46.5 inches of reach between an AVR JTAG debugger or ISP programmer and the target board, allowing comfortable bench separation.
