Cable management for 50 mm cut-outs

These zinc-alloy grommets fit a 50 mm hole and sit 14 mm high with a 56 mm flange. The electroplated red-bronze finish resists corrosion while keeping cables tidy on desks, counters or furniture. Four pieces are included for multiple workstations.

Sustained organisation without wear

The solid alloy body holds its shape under daily cable movement and does not crack like plastic inserts. Electroplating prevents surface oxidation even in humid office environments. Cables slide smoothly through the rounded opening without snagging on rough edges.

Replaces cracked plastic grommets

Upgrade when existing covers have yellowed, split or no longer sit flush in the cut-out. The metal construction survives repeated re-routing of power and data leads. Not suited for holes larger than 50 mm or installations requiring a locking mechanism.

Questions about this item

Does the 14 mm height of the 2.20 in grommet trap heat around power bricks running all day?

The 14 mm tall zinc-alloy ring sits flush with the surface, so it does not enclose power bricks or restrict airflow around them.

What size hole must I already have drilled for the 50 mm fit diameter to work?

You need a 50 mm (2 in) diameter cut-out in the desktop or panel before pressing the grommet into place.

Will the 56 mm outer flange cover the rough edge of a 50 mm hole cut in a 20-year-old particle-board desk?

Yes, the 56 mm max diameter flange overlaps the cut edge by about 3 mm on each side, hiding imperfections in older material.
