24-Pin 0.5mm Pitch FFC Kit

This kit supplies a 24-pin flexible flat cable with a 0.5mm pitch and a matching flip-up adapter. The cable measures 200mm long and 12.5mm wide, while the adapter body is 20mm by 22mm. Both components are rated for 60V and 80°C operation.

Repairers extending LCD or laptop ribbons

Technicians replacing damaged display or button-board ribbons in laptops, LCD TVs, monitors, DVD players or car audio units can use the A-type pinout and reinforced stiffener ends. Builders needing a different pin count, pitch or reverse pin orientation should look elsewhere.

Sustained 80°C rated operation

The AWM 20624 cable construction maintains its electrical properties at the rated 80°C continuously, not only in short bursts. The PE film base and bonded conductors resist fatigue during repeated flexing inside hinged devices.

Questions about this item

What cable pitch and pin count must my existing connector match for this 24-pin 0.5mm kit to work?

Your connector needs a 0.5mm pitch and exactly 24 pins to match the cable and adapter supplied in the kit.

Will the flip-up adapter fit alongside the 20mm x 22mm footprint of my current board layout?

The adapter measures 20mm by 22mm, so verify your board has at least that much clear space for the flip-up mounting method.

How can I confirm the cable is seated correctly after I flip up the black strip and insert it?

The reinforced stiffener on the cable end should slide fully into the adapter until it stops, with the gold contacts facing the same side as the adapter pins.
