3-pack AA battery holder cases

This pack contains three black plastic battery holders, each accepting three 1.5 V AA cells. Spring-loaded contacts allow quick insertion and removal of batteries. Each unit includes a 21 cm lead for wiring into a project or device. The cases measure 5.7 x 4.7 x 1.5 cm and weigh 32 g in total.

Hobbyists and low-power prototyping

Suitable for makers, students or repair work that needs a simple 3-cell AA power source under 10 W and 2 A. Not intended for high-drain applications, continuous loads above the stated limits or any build requiring sealed or ruggedised enclosures. Buyers who need higher current capacity or weather-resistant housings should look at other options.

10 W / 2 A continuous limit

The supplier specifies that the maximum power must stay below 10 W and the working current below 2 A while the holder is in use. Exceeding these figures risks overheating the spring contacts and the plastic body. This electrical ceiling is the single figure that decides whether the holder matches your circuit.

Questions about this item

Will the 21 cm leads reach the terminals on my existing power tool battery pack?

Each holder has 21 cm of cable, so measure from your pack terminals to the mounting point; the spring clip holds three AA cells once they are inserted.

How can I confirm the holder is delivering power correctly after wiring it in?

With fresh AA cells installed, the spring contacts should pass current up to 2 A and 10 W maximum; verify the connected device operates normally.

What exactly comes in the pack and do I need to supply anything else?

The box contains three black plastic holders with 21 cm wires; three AA batteries per holder are not included and must be purchased separately.
