Connector kit for patch cables

This pack contains thirty shielded 8P8C RJ45 modular plugs with coloured boot protectors. It is aimed at installers and network technicians who need to terminate or repair Cat6 patch cables quickly. The connectors accept standard solid or stranded conductors for typical LAN wiring tasks.

Thermals noise and power draw

These passive connectors generate no heat, produce no audible noise and draw no electrical power during normal operation. They simply provide a mechanical and electrical interface between the cable and the network port without affecting system thermals or power budgets.

Colour coded boot protectors

The bundle includes ten yellow, ten red and ten blue boots that slide over the plug latch. The coloured boots protect the locking tab from snapping when cables are pulled through dense bundles and allow quick visual identification of circuit types or cable runs.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 8P8C Cat6 shielded plug with its boot protector, and what step is often missed?

Crimp the 8P8C connector onto the cable first, then slide the coloured boot protector over the finished plug; the common mistake is putting the boot on before crimping, which blocks the tool.

Which part of this 30-piece kit will need replacement first under normal use?

The plastic latch on the boot protector tends to snap after repeated unplugging, so keep the spare yellow, red and blue boots from the pack for quick swaps.

What physical limit appears first when these shielded plugs are used in a tightly bundled patch panel?

The 22 mm connector length plus the boot adds bulk, so adjacent ports can block each other before any signal degradation occurs.
