Audio Terminal Connector

This pack supplies four screw binding posts for speaker or amplifier wiring. Each post accepts a 4mm banana plug and uses a 3.5mm thread for panel mounting. The metal body is finished in black, red and gold tones. They are sold as new accessories for home audio projects.

Suits DIY speaker builds

These terminals suit hobbyists building or repairing speaker cabinets and small amplifiers who need a secure screw-down connection. Installers requiring a different thread pitch, a larger plug diameter or insulated plastic bodies should look at other options. The fixed four-piece count may not match larger multi-channel installations.

Simple panel installation

Drill a 3.5mm hole, insert the post and tighten the nut behind the panel. No soldering is required because the banana plug seats directly into the 4mm socket. The short 26mm overall length limits panel thickness, so verify your enclosure depth before ordering. Ensure the thread matches your panel to avoid cross-threading.

Questions about this item

What speaker-cabinet panel thickness suits the 3.5mm thread on these binding posts?

The 3.5mm thread requires a panel hole of that diameter; choose material thin enough for the nut to engage fully.

Can I keep using my existing 4mm banana plugs with these terminals?

Yes, the 4mm banana-plug diameter matches the connector opening exactly.

How do I confirm a solid connection after wiring each post?

Tighten the screw until the wire is clamped firmly, then tug gently — no movement means the joint is secure.
