4mm banana plugs for 3 mm speaker wire

These connectors adapt 3 mm speaker cable to standard 4 mm banana sockets for live sound amplifiers and speaker systems. The set includes four plugs in red, black and silver-tone finishes. Metal and plastic construction provides a secure mechanical connection. Stackable design allows bi-wiring or running multiple speaker sets from one terminal.

Not for cables thicker than 6 mm

The plugs accept wire up to 6 mm outer diameter, so installers using heavier gauge cable will need a different connector. Buyers who need screw-lock or angled plugs should also look elsewhere. Each plug measures 55 mm long by 10 mm maximum diameter.

Questions about this item

What does the 4 mm connector size mean once the plug is on a speaker cable?

The 4 mm pin fits standard amplifier and speaker binding posts, so the connector seats securely without forcing the terminal.

How does the stackable design affect the connection when I run two speaker pairs from one terminal?

Each banana plug has a side socket that accepts another 4 mm plug, letting a second cable piggy-back on the same binding post without extra hardware.
