Battery holder for six AA cells

This black plastic case holds six 1.5 V AA batteries and includes a 15 cm cable with a connector. It measures 114 x 61 x 19 mm and weighs 42 g. Batteries are not supplied.

Suits low-voltage projects needing a compact 9 V

Hobbyists building portable sensors, LED strips or Arduino circuits will find the holder convenient. Users who need a higher cell count, a different voltage or a waterproof enclosure should look elsewhere.

Fits inside small enclosures and frees up PCB space

The 15 cm lead lets you position the pack away from the main board while the slim 19 mm profile slides into tight cases. No soldering to the cells is required, so swapping batteries is quick.

Questions about this item

What battery type and quantity does this holder require?

It accepts six 1.5 V AA batteries, which are not supplied with the holder.

Will the 15 cm cable reach a device mounted nearby?

Each cable measures 15 cm (5.9 in), so it suits short internal connections within the 114 × 61 × 19 mm case.

How can I confirm the holder delivers the expected voltage once batteries are installed?

Measure across the leads with a multimeter; a fresh set of six AA cells should read about 9 V.
