Measures AC current up to 50 A with Class 2.5 accuracy using an external CT, featuring a clear 64 × 56 mm dial and fine-tuning button
The Unique-Bargains 85L1 is an analogue panel meter designed to measure alternating current. It suits electricians and technicians who need a clear visual indication of load on a switchboard or control panel. The Class 2.5 accuracy rating defines its measurement tolerance for professional use.
This meter does not connect directly to the circuit under test. A separate 50/5A current transformer must be installed to step the primary current down to the instrument range. The panel cut-out accepts the 64 x 56mm body secured by 4mm and 3mm diameter screws, leaving the wiring loom free for the CT leads.
The supplied unit includes a front-mounted adjustment button that lets the operator zero the needle or trim the reading against a reference standard. No additional accessories, shunts or configuration software are bundled, so the installer must source the matching CT and mounting hardware separately.

The scale reads up to 50 A AC, so any load above that goes off the end of the dial.
The movement is passive and generates no audible noise or measurable heat; only the external CT warms slightly.
A 50/5 A CT is required — the meter expects a 5 A secondary signal and cannot connect directly to the load.
