Unique-Bargains 8mm x 13mm Silicone Translucent Tube 1 Meter 3.3Ft

SKU CH-KAYV-NY96T

Translucent silicone tube for water, air and pump transfer rated from –60 °C to 200 °C

  • Handles extreme heat up to 200 °C / 392 °F for demanding pump tasks
  • Stays flexible in severe cold down to −60 °C / −76 °F
  • 13 mm outer diameter with 5 mm / .19 in wall resists kinking and pressure
  • Translucent silicone lets you monitor fluid flow at a glance
  • 3 ft / 1 m length ready to cut for custom routing

Application Range

This translucent silicone tube suits pump and transfer tasks in pharmaceutical, laboratory, bioprocess and food-and-beverage environments. It is not intended for builders who need a rigid conduit or a hose rated for continuous steam service.

Temperature Limits

The tube withstands intermittent exposure up to 200C (392F) and remains flexible down to -60C (-76F). Selecting a different material becomes necessary when the process demands continuous operation above the stated maximum.

Dimensions and Handling

Internal diameter measures .31 inch, external diameter .51 inch, with a wall thickness of .19 inch over a 3.3 foot length. The translucent wall allows visual flow checks while the silicone construction resists kinking during normal routing.

Questions about this item

How does the 8mm bore behave once it is fitted to a pump or fitting?

The 8mm internal diameter (0.31") gives a clear path for water or air; the 5mm wall (0.19") keeps the tube from collapsing under vacuum or kinking on tight bends.

What temperature range does the silicone withstand in practice?

It handles intermittent peaks of 200 °C (392 °F) and stays flexible down to -60 °C (-76 °F), so steam lines and cryogenic transfers are both covered.

What clearance do I need for the 13mm outside diameter when routing the 1-metre length?

The 13mm OD (0.51") fits through ½-inch holes or standard cable glands; the 1-metre (3.3 ft) coil can be cut to exact run lengths without waste.
