Unique-Bargains 8Pcs 5.5mmx2.1mm DC Power Jack Socket Female Panel Mount Wire Cap Connector

5.5 mm DC Power Jack Socket

This pack contains eight female panel-mount sockets with a 5.5 mm outer diameter and 2.1 mm inner pin. They are designed to replace a damaged DC power input on devices such as media players, audio-video equipment, notebooks and car audio systems. Each connector measures 18 mm in length and 14 mm in diameter. The silver-tone and black housing combines plastic and metal construction.

Suits repairs on 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm ports

These connectors fit equipment that uses the 5.5 mm by 2.1 mm barrel standard, including MP3 and MP4 players, PDAs, cellular phones and similar portable electronics. They are not suitable for devices that require a different barrel diameter or pin size. Builders needing a right-angle or surface-mount footprint should look at a different connector style.

5.5 mm outer diameter and 2.1 mm inner pin

The critical specification is the 5.5 mm outer diameter paired with a 2.1 mm inner pin, which must match the original power port exactly. A mismatch in either dimension will prevent a secure connection or supply incorrect power. Verify the measurements on the existing jack before ordering.
