SKU CH-1AC8-CZTK4

Pack of five 9 V battery clips with 12.5 cm colour-coded leads for quick circuit connections

  • Pack of five gives spare connectors for multiple projects
  • 5 cm leads reach battery compartments without strain
  • Red and black wires identify polarity at a glance
  • Compact 26 x 19 x 5 mm shell fits tight enclosures
  • Light 11 g weight adds negligible mass to portable builds

5-Pack 9V Battery Clips

This pack contains five 9V battery clip connectors with a T-type shell. Each unit has a 12.5 cm two-wire lead in black and red. The hard plastic housing measures 26 x 19 x 5 mm. They suit hobbyists, students and repair technicians who need reliable 9V power connections for prototypes or device maintenance.

Replaces Worn 9V Connectors

Use these clips to swap out cracked, loose or corroded 9V battery snaps on existing equipment. The jump is worth it when the original clip fails to hold the battery firmly or the wires have frayed near the terminals. A fresh set restores a solid electrical path without soldering new leads from scratch.

Check Polarity and Clearance

Verify that your device accepts a standard 9V snap with red for positive and black for negative. Confirm the 12.5 cm cable reaches the connection point without strain. Ensure the 26 x 19 x 5 mm housing fits inside the battery compartment or enclosure you are using.

Questions about this item

What size opening does the 26 x 19 x 5 mm T-type shell need to snap onto a 9 V battery?

The hard plastic shell measures 26 mm long, 19 mm wide and 5 mm thick, matching the standard 9 V battery footprint so it clips on without modification.

How do you connect the two wires without reversing polarity?

The red lead is positive and the black lead is negative; strip each end, twist to the matching terminal, and insulate — reversing them powers the circuit backwards.

When should the 12.5 cm leads or the shell be replaced?

Replace a clip if the plastic shell cracks, the wires fray at the 12.5 cm length, or the metal contacts no longer grip the battery terminals firmly.
