Compact AAA Battery Holder

The Unique-Bargains holder secures two 1.5V AAA cells in a 5 x 2.4 x 1.2 cm black plastic and metal housing. A 16 cm cable with spring clips allows quick insertion and removal of batteries. The unit weighs 7 g and is supplied without cells.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The supplier specifies a maximum continuous power draw of 5 W and a working current below 2 A. Exceeding these limits risks overheating the spring contacts and the enclosed cells. Users should monitor battery temperature during extended runs and avoid low-quality cells that generate excess heat.

Upgrade Context

This case replaces loose cells or taped-together packs in low-draw devices such as LED lights, sensors or small remotes. It is not suited for applications requiring more than two AAA cells, higher current capacity or integrated voltage regulation. Builders needing longer runtimes or higher voltage should consider a different power solution.

Questions about this item

Does the 16 cm wire lead get warm when the case runs near its 5 W limit all day?

The supplier notes the maximum power should stay below 5 W and the working current below 2 A; monitor battery heat during extended use.

What must I already have to make this holder deliver 1.5 V to my device?

You need to supply two 1.5 V AAA batteries; they are not included with the case.

Will the 16 cm leads reach the battery compartment of my older tool without an extension?

The leads measure 16 cm (6.3 in) end to end; check your tool's compartment depth to confirm fit.
