  • Light 51 g pack keeps toolkit weight low

AA battery spring contact plates

This pack supplies fifty silver-tone spring plates sized 20 by 12 millimetres with an 11 millimetre spring length for AA cell holders. They are sold as new components and the batteries themselves are not included. The total packed weight is 51 grams.

20 x 12 mm plate with 11 mm spring

Each contact measures 20 millimetres long, 12 millimetres wide and carries an 11 millimetre spring that presses against the battery terminal. The dimensions decide whether the plate fits your existing holder or PCB layout. Verify those measurements before ordering.

Steady contact under vibration

The spring maintains constant pressure on the cell terminals during sustained vibration or thermal cycling. This keeps resistance low over long operating periods rather than only during brief insertion. The plate is intended for repair or custom pack building where reliable continuity matters.

Questions about this item

What does the 20 x 12 mm plate size mean when I install these springs?

Each contact plate measures 20 mm long by 12 mm wide, so it fits standard AA battery compartments and provides a flat mounting surface for soldering or press-fit connections.

How does the 11 mm spring length affect the connection in a real device?

The 11 mm spring compresses against the battery terminal to maintain firm pressure, compensating for slight length variations between different AA cells and preventing power loss from vibration.

What mounting holes or solder pads does each piece need to fit?

The 20 x 12 mm plate has no pre-drilled holes; you solder directly to the silver-tone surface or secure it with adhesive or small screws through the surrounding housing.
