BNC Female to Dual 4mm Banana Jack

This connector adapts a BNC female socket to two 4 mm banana female ports in a tee body style. It is built with a black plastic housing, nickel-plated alloy shell and gold-plated alloy inner core for 50 ohm impedance. The pack contains two pieces for test and measurement setups.

Suits bench test leads and probe connections

Users who need a quick, solderless way to split a BNC signal to twin banana plugs will find it useful. Builders requiring a straight-through BNC-to-BNC adapter or a different impedance rating should look at other parts.

50 ohm impedance rating decides fit

The 50 ohm specification determines whether the connector matches the cable and instrument requirements. If the system calls for a different impedance value this tee will not be the right choice.

Questions about this item

What cable or device with a BNC male plug will I need to connect to this adapter?

Any standard 50 ohm BNC male cable or test lead will mate with the BNC female side of this tee-style adapter.

Can I use my existing 4 mm banana plug test leads with the dual binding posts on this connector?

Yes, the two 4 mm banana female jacks accept standard 4 mm banana plugs for quick, solderless connections.

How can I confirm the adapter is making proper contact after I attach my leads?

A firm, wobble-free fit on both the BNC bayonet and the banana plugs, plus continuity between the centre pin and each banana jack, shows it is working.
