Replacement Carbon Brushes

A set of ten carbon brushes sized 11mm by 6mm by 4mm with a 20mm spring length. They are designed to restore motor function in a range of power tools and electric motors where the original brushes have worn down.

When to Replace Worn Brushes

Worn brushes cause intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking and reduced motor power. The supplier notes replacement every 60 hours of use. The jump is worth it when the tool shows these symptoms or has reached that interval.

Fitting Into a Repair

Each brush measures approximately 0.43 by 0.24 by 0.16 inches. The pack of ten covers multiple replacements or several tools. Verify the dimensions match the motor housing before fitting; no other parts are included.

Questions about this item

Will these 11 mm x 6 mm x 4 mm brushes fit my motor's holder?

Measure the existing brush cavity; these are 11 mm long, 6 mm wide and 4 mm thick, so the holder must accept those exact dimensions.

How do I install the 10 carbon brushes with the 20 mm springs correctly?

Slide each brush into its holder so the spring seats fully behind it; the common mistake is leaving the spring cocked sideways, which prevents contact.

When should I replace the set again if I follow the 60 hour guideline?

Plan on a fresh set after every 60 hours of motor run time; worn brushes cause intermittent running and loss of braking.
